Insurers seek climate change mitigation to deal with rising claims

Insurers in Australia are pressing the government to put at least $200 million a year into major projects such as flood levies, to reduce the chances of natural catastrophe damages and insurance payouts, The Sydney Morning Herald reported. The insurers warned that some homes may be "difficult to insure" without action.
