Swiss Re aims to diversify access to risk pools

Christian Mumenthaler, chief executive of Swiss Re Ltd., said that the reinsurer is investing more in research and technology to give it an edge in accessing growing risk pools, Asia Insurance Review reports. Swiss Re plans to continue growing its and diversifying its natural catastrophe portfolio and make more use of third-party in the process, Mr. Mumenthaler said.
