Farmington Hills, Michigan-based Kaufman said in a statement that Barbican Protect, which specializes in commercial property, casualty, financial lines and marine, focusing on regional retail brokers across the United Kingdom, will rebrand as Burns & Wilcox and join H.W. Kaufman Group London.

Stuart Kilpatrick, Barbican Protect’s managing director, who has led the MGA for 10 years, will become a Burns & Wilcox managing director and report to James Stevenson, managing director of H.W. Kaufman Group London, according to the statement.

Kaufman said in its statement this is its fourth acquisition in the United Kingdom in the past seven years as it expands internationally.
