Perils investigates Australian bushfires, UK and Venice floods

Swiss catastrophe loss data provider Perils AG is investigating Australian bushfires and Venice and U.K. floods to establish whether they will meet the various thresholds for each region and peril to warrant regular reporting, Artemis reported. Perils' threshold for reporting on an Italian flood loss event is €200 million ($220 million), $400 million Australia ($271 million) for natural catastrophe in Australia and €200 million for flood loss in the United Kingdom.
