Climate change poses serious risk to Saudi oil firm

A report by French consultant Callendar said that climate change poses serious risk to Saudi Arabian Oil Co.'s long-term business as rising sea levels and temperatures could damage infrastructure, curb productivity as well as halt operations, News Herald reports citing Bloomberg. Rising sea levels pose the biggest threat to Aramco's business and may lead to some of its refining facilities being underwater in the next few decades, making it difficult for the company to operate.
