AssuredPartners buys Florida agency

AssuredPartners Inc. has bought commercial insurance agency Mack, Mack & Waltz Insurance Group Inc., the acquisitive Lake Mary, Florida-based brokerage announced Friday.

Deerfield Beach, Florida-based Mack, Mack & Waltz has about $5.2 million in annual revenue and 22 staff, an AssuredPartners statement said. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The agency will continue to be led by Paul Mack, Greg Waltz and Todd Woonton, the statement said.

AssuredPartners, which is the 12th-largest brokerage of U.S. business according to Business Insurance’s latest ranking, has grown significantly through acquisitions over the past several years. It completed 26 deals in the first nine months of 2019.
