North P&I Club plans 7.5% increase in premiums

Marine insurer North of England P&I Association plans for a 7.5% general increase in protection and indemnity and freight, demurrage and defense premiums at February 2020 renewals, Hellenic Shipping News Worldwide reports. The club said it needs to raise rates to cover rising International Group Pool claims and premium erosion.
