Brokers illegally pocket $430 million in premium

Kenyan businesses, individuals and households have spent $430 million in premiums on non-existent insurance policies after insurance brokers failed to remit the payments to insurers, The East African reports. Since insurers never received payment of premiums any claims made would not be honored.
