Typhoon Kalmaegi to hit Philippines, cause floods

The national weather service of the Philippines expects typhoon Kalmaegi to hit the northern part of the country and cause floods, cut off roads and threaten low-lying communities in Cagayan province, Outlook reports citing Agence France-Presse. At least a dozen domestic flights have been cancelled ahead of the typhoon. Meanwhile, a second storm is expected to make landfall in the country by Nov. 21.
