Tornado hits Christchurch, causes widespread damage

A tornado hit the New Zealand city of Christchurch on Nov. 18 and caused widespread damage across central suburbs to the city's coastal areas, RNZ reports. A Fire and Emergency spokesperson said that there are reports of roofs being torn off and air conditioning units falling off buildings.
