Abaco Islands account for 86% of Dorian-related claims

Baker's Bay Golf & Ocean Resort on Great Guana Cay in the Bahamas may file claims up to $1 billion for damaged suffered when hurricane Dorian hit in August, The Tribune reported. Charles Johnson, a council member of the Bahamas Insurance Association, said that the Abaco Islands, where Baker’s Bay is located, accounted for 86% of hurricane Dorian-related claims in the Bahamas.
