Violent protests led to the closure of 250 bank branches on Nov. 13 in Hong Kong, South China Morning Post reports. One in five branches of the 18 major banks, including HSBC Holdings PLC, Standard Chartered Bank PLC and Bank of China (Hong Kong) Ltd., had closed for the day.
