Cyclone to cause more than $2.5 billion of damage

Cyclone Bulbul, which made landfall between the Indian state of West Bengal and Bangladesh on Nov. 9, is expected to cause up to 190 billion Indian rupees ($2.6 billion) worth of damage in the state, India Today reports citing the Press Trust of India. The cyclone battered the coastal districts of West Bengal and claimed 14 lives.
