Up to $8 million in gold-silver bars stolen

Mexican mining firm Fresnillo PLC's gold-silver bars worth around $6 million to $8 million were stolen on Nov. 8 in the northwestern state of Sonora, Reuters reported citing media sources. The bars, made of doré, an alloy of gold and silver, were insured.
