Spanish insurer buys 45% stake in Colombian carrier

Spanish insurer Mutua Madrilena has purchased a 45% stake in Colombian insurer Seguros Del Estado SA with an aim to expand in Latin America, Investment Europe reports. As per the terms of the deal, Mutua could increase its stake in Seguros from the fourth year to hold a controlling position.
