Nigerian airlines threaten to dump local insurers

Airlines that are part of the Airline Operators of Nigeria association have stopped buying coverage from local insurers, who they accuse of failing to pay claims, New Telegraph reported. The AON members said that over the years most local insurers had continued to renege on payment of claims and they are looking to secure coverage with foreign insurers instead.
