1,300 flights cancelled, 180,000 passengers may be stranded

German airline Deutsche Lufthansa AG cancelled nearly 1,300 flights on Nov. 7 and Nov. 8 due to a strike by its cabin crew, affecting around 180,000 passengers worldwide, The Times of India reports. The airline said that the strike affected only the flights operated by Lufthansa and not the other airlines owned by the Lufthansa Group, including Eurowings GmbH, Germanwings GmbH, Swiss International Air Lines AG, Austrian Airlines AG, and Brussels Airlines.
