Marsh names US cyber risk consulting leader

Marsh LLC named Reid Sawyer to the newly created role of U.S. cyber risk consulting leader, the broker said Thursday.

Mr. Sawyer, based in Chicago, will lead Marsh’s cybersecurity consulting services’ strategy and delivery in the U.S., Marsh said in its statement.

Before joining Marsh, Mr. Sawyer led Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group PLC’s Emerging Risks Group. He also spent more than 20 years with the U.S. Army, where he acted as senior adviser on emerging risk trends, served in Special Operations forces, and founded the army’s premier strategy group on counterterrorism, Marsh said.
