African swine fever could kill 25% of world's pigs

The World Organization for Animal Health said that around 25% of the global pig population is expected to die as a result of the spread of the African swine fever, The Guardian reports. The virus has been identified in 50 countries, including Poland, Russia, South Korea and the Philippines.
