Unrest disrupts port facilities, supply chains in Chile

Continuing protests in Chile have disrupted port facilities, public transportation and supply chains, Seatrade Maritime News reports. More than 6,000 workers employed in 20 terminals across the country suspended activities on Oct. 30 and Oct. 31. Mining firm Antofagasta PLC expects the unrest to disrupt about 5,000 tons of copper production.
