Businesses lose $1.4 billion due to protests

Chilean businesses have suffered $1.4 billion in losses due to ongoing protests, Business Standard reported citing Reuters. Adding to the woes of businesses, the protests have forced Chile to withdraw as the host of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit which was scheduled to be held on Nov. 16 to Nov. 17.
