Environmental policies affect projects worth $3.3 billion

The Dutch government's environmental policies have affected around 308 projects worth $3.3 billion, Spectrum News NY1 reports citing the Associated Press. The policies include limits on nitrogen emissions and rules about transporting sand and earth contaminated with tiny amounts of chemicals known as PFAS, which are used in firefighting foam, nonstick pots and pans, water-repellent clothing and many other household and personal items.
