Everest Re's premiums rise 9%

Bermuda-based Everest Re Group Ltd.'s gross written premiums grew 9% year-over-year to $2.4 billion in the third quarter, Nasdaq reports citing Zacks Equity Research. Reinsurance premiums increased 3% to $1.7 billion while operating revenues rose 9% to $2.1 billion.
