Gallagher plants roots in India with Edelweiss tie-up

U.S.-based Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has announced it has purchased a minority stake in Indian Edelweiss Insurance Brokers Limited for an undisclosed price, Newsbarons reported. Gallagher said it would use the Edelweiss stake to make further inroads into India’s insurance market.
