Bank to pay $5 million to customers for tech outage

The Commonwealth Bank of Australia's plan to pay $50 Australia ($34) to customers affected by the recent technology outage is expected to cost the company AUD 7.5 million ($5 million), 7News reported. Up to 150,000 customers will receive the amount as part of the bank's campaign to win account holders' trust.
