More than 230 flights cancelled ahead of strike

More than 230 flights have been cancelled in Italy for Oct. 25 as public and private sector employees across the nation plan to go on a strike, Independent reported. Flag carrier Societa Aerea Italiana has cancelled more than 200 flights, while EasyJet Airline Co. Ltd. has cancelled 32 flights due to the strike over low pay, pension provisions and poor working conditions.
