Firms affected by flood seek more than $10 million in damages

Companies affected by the collapse of the Hobart Rivulet wall in Australia in July 2016 have filed a civil action lawsuit and are seeking more than $15.5 million Australia ($10.6 million) in damages, ABC News reports. Seven hundred million liters of water entered the central Hobart construction site and department store chain Myer Pty. Ltd.'s basement due to the collapse. Adjacent buildings also suffered significant structural damage.
