Catastrophe reinsurance rates to rise in Germany: Hannover Re

Germany-based reinsurer Hannover Re SE expects reinsurance rates for natural catastrophe to rise in the country due to increased risk awareness among reinsurers, Artemis reports. With no really significant natural catastrophe losses in Europe for some years now, the European reinsurance market has become increasingly less attractive.
