China launches first online shipping insurance transaction platform

China has launched its first online shipping insurance transaction platform in Nansha, Guangzhou, Seatrade Maritime News reports. The platform will focus on the research and development of shipping insurance business in Great Bay Area and service for local shipping industry. It will also expand service scope and develop cross-industry data consolidation.
