Typhoon Hagibis hurts Japanese industries

Japanese industries have suffered major damage due to floods and supply chain disruptions caused by typhoon Hagibis, which hit the country on Oct. 12, Eleven Myanmar reports citing The Japan News. Automaker Subaru Corp. halted operations at a plant in Gunma Prefecture from Oct. 16 because parts suppliers suffered flood damage. Toyota Industries Corp. also suspended operations at a factory in Aichi Prefecture from Oct. 16, while Panasonic Corp. and Hitachi Ltd. stopped plants in Fukushima Prefecture after being flooded.
