Sub-Saharan Africa markets remain attractive to reinsurers

A report by U.S.-based ratings agency A.M. Best Co. Inc. said that insurance markets across sub-Saharan Africa remain attractive to international reinsurers as they provide diversification and long-term growth opportunities, Middle East Insurance Review reports. The report also said that limitations in the strength of sub-Saharan African reinsurers' risk management are an ongoing concern across the region.
