Fitbit to pull production out of China

U.S.-based wearable technology devices maker Fitbit plans to move manufacturing operations out of China to avoid tariffs arising from the U.S.-China trade war, ABC News reported. Ron Kisling, chief financial officer at Fitbit, said, "We expect that effectively all trackers and smartwatches starting in January 2020 will not be of Chinese origin."
