Nearly 25% of firms lost at least $1 million each to cyber attacks
Posted On: Oct. 11, 2019 6:00 AM CSTA report by U.S.-based technology firm Cisco Systems Inc. said that nearly a quarter of Indian firms lost at least $1 million each to cyber attacks in the past year, Sify reported citing Indo-Asian News Service. Nearly 40% of the companies experienced a downtime of more than nine hours after their most severe breach, compared with 30% globally.
