Air freight industry hardest hit by US-China trade war

The U.S.-China trade war has hit the air freight industry the hardest, with global air freight demand down to the levels of the global financial crisis in 2008, AirlineRatings reported. Global air freight demand fell nearly 4% in August, making it the 10th consecutive month of year-on-year declines. Capacity growth also outstripped demand growth for the 16th consecutive month.
