Tokio Marine names intellectual property head

Tokio Marine Kiln Group Ltd. has named Aoife Woulfe to the newly created role of head of intellectual property, the insurer said in a statement Monday.

In addition to developing products such as IP infringement liability and IP combined liability, Ms. Woulfe will focus on accelerating the growth of Tokio Marine’s IP book, and enlarging the IP team, the statement said.

Ms. Woulfe began her career at Tokio Marine as a graduate trainee in 2014 before becoming an underwriter on the cyber and intellectual property team, the statement said. She will be based in London and report to head of enterprise risk Laila Khudairi.
