Willis Towers Watson names property broking exec

Willis Towers Watson PLC on Thursday said it has appointed senior broking executive Nancy Woode as head of property broking in North America, replacing Gary Marchitello.

Mr. Marchitello has been appointed chairperson of Willis Towers Watson’s North American property team, a spokeswoman confirmed.

In her role, Ms. Woode will lead Willis Towers Watson’s North America property insurance risk management business, the brokerage said in a statement.

Based in Atlanta, Ms. Woode will report to Joe Peiser, recently named global head of broking at Willis Towers Watson.

Ms. Woode, who joined Willis Towers Watson in 2009, previously led the Atlantic South property broking team, according to the statement.
