Former risk manager joins brokerage

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants has named Pam Stoutenburgh as a principal in its property/casualty operations, the brokerage said Wednesday.

She was most recently risk finance and insurance director with The Freeman Co. in Dallas for nearly six years, the statement said.

Ms. Stoutenburgh will head new business development and development of property/casualty insurance programs for midmarket and larger clients, focused on private equity and mergers and acquisitions, and the construction and real estate industries, the statement said.

She will be based in Dallas and report to EPIC’s managing principal and director of the Southwest region, KJ Wagner, the statement said.
