Cyber security firm teams with CNA

CNA Financial Corp. will partner with network security firm Opaq Networks Inc. to offer a cloud-based cyber security service aimed at small and midsize businesses, Opaq said in a statement Wednesday.
Herndon, Virginia-based Opaq’s cloud offers CNA cyber insurance policyholders using wide-area networks the option to integrate a private network with direct, secure high-speed connections to internet service provider exchanges with security capabilities that include next-generation firewall, endpoint protection, analytics and reporting, the statement said.
“Deploying and managing the security tools needed to protect themselves from cyber threats is beyond the reach of most small and midsize businesses,” said Glenn Hazard, Opaq CEO. “Opaq uses its cloud platform to make advanced, fully integrated network security more affordable, flexible and simple to manage.”
