Around 446,000 Germans join VW class action suit

The German Justice Ministry said that around 446,000 plaintiffs have joined a class action lawsuit against automaker Volkswagen AG over the diesel emissions scandal, Deutsche Welle reported. The lawsuit, which has been jointly organized by the Federation of German Consumer Organizations and German automobile association Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club, is seeking refunds on the full purchase price of the cars.
