Philippine hospitality firm ordered to pay nearly $300 million

A Singapore-based arbitration court has ordered Philippines-based hospitality firm Bloomberry Resorts Corp. to pay nearly $300 million to U.S.-based casino management company Global Gaming Philippines LLC, Inquirer.net reports. The arbitral award relates to a lawsuit filed by Global Gaming claiming that it had been unjustly removed from the management of Bloomberry's Solaire Resorts & Casino in 2013.
