More than 150 flights cancelled as typhoon approaches

More than 150 flights were cancelled in Taiwan on Sep. 30 amid warnings of floods and high winds, as typhoon Mitag approached the country's northeastern coast, Channel News Asia reports citing Reuters. Ferry services and highways were shut amid fears of landslides and floods. Around 2,700 houses lost power due to the storm.
