Massive earthquake strikes Chile

The United States Geological Survey said that a 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Chile on Sep. 30, and was followed by an aftershock of magnitude-4.7, Newshub reported. There were no immediate reports of damage or injury. The United States National Weather Service's Tsunami Warning System said that there was no tsunami warning, advisory, watch, or threat in place.
