H.W. Kaufman Group Inc. said Friday it has acquired London-based managing general agent Node International Ltd., which has expertise in cyber risk and technology-related issues.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Node has six employees and annual revenues more than £1 million ($1.23 million), according to a spokeswoman for Farmington Hills, Michigan-based H.W. Kaufman.

Node will join H.W. Kaufman Group in London, which also includes the Chesterfield Insurance Brokers Ltd., Lochain Patrick Insurance Brokers Ltd. and Cranbrook Underwriting Ltd., and is led by managing director James Stevenson, according to the statement.

The statement said the company was founded in 2017 by CEO Neil Gurnhill, who will continue to lead the company as it joins the Kaufman network.

It said the company will move its London operations to the H.W. Kaufman Group location in London and retain its existing Nottingham location.
