Hurricane Dorian, typhoon Faxai might erode ILS protection

Swiss insurance-linked securities manager Twelve Capital AG has said that hurricane Dorian and typhoon Faxai might erode some underlying layers of ILS protection, Artemis reported. The impact is expected on the lower collateralized reinsurance layers, or on the quota-share and sidecar sectors of the ILS market.
