Regulator approves recapitalization plans of 26 insurers

The National Insurance Commission has approved recapitalization plans of 26 insurers that are trying to raise funds to meet the increased minimum paid-up capital requirement deadline of June 30, 2020, This Day reported. The commission said that out of 57 insurers and two reinsurers operating in the country, 47 insurers and two reinsurers have submitted their plans.
