Missing from the report on a woman in Keokuk, Iowa, sentenced this month in an renter’s insurance fraud scheme that included her and husband’s listing of “nonexistent items” on an insurance claim are the items in question.

Perhaps the sky’s the limit. Letter to Santa?

As reported by Iowa station WGEM, Heather Palmisano, was placed on probation for five years and assessed a fine of $750 after an investigation by the Iowa Insurance Division’s Fraud Bureau concluded that she made “statements and submitted documents in support of an insurance claim to her insurance company seeking reimbursement through a renter’s insurance policy” on items — undisclosed — she didn’t own and were never in existence.

Ms. Palmisano and her husband David Palmisano Jr. were arrested in March 2019 following an investigation into their 2018 renter’s insurance claim, according to media reports. No word on Mr. Palmisano.
