Sanlam in talks with potential partner in Ethiopia

South Africa-based insurer Sanlam Ltd. is in "very advanced" talks with a potential partner in Ethiopia, Middle East Insurance Review reported citing Young Africa. Heinie Werth, chief executive of Sanlam Emerging Markets, said: "If this initial agreement does not require a financial investment from Sanlam, the purchase of a stake in the partner could be discussed later."
