UK insurance underwriter to be acquired for $325 million

U.S.-based equity firm Lovell Minnick Partners LLC- backed Jewel U.K. Bidco Ltd. will acquire U.K.-based insurance underwriting services provider Charles Taylor PLC for more than $325 million, Reuters reported. The offer represents a 34% premium to Charles Taylor's closing share price on Sep. 18.
