Flights between Malaysia and Singapore cancelled

Several flights between Malaysia and Singapore were cancelled on Sep. 19 as worsening haze from forest fires affected visibility, The Rakyat Post reports. The haze also affected numerous flights to and from Penang International Airport on Sep. 18. These flights were either delayed or cancelled. A number of flights departing from the Malaysian airport were forced to turn around and land, while a few incoming flights were diverted to other airports.
