Dozens of retailers likely to shut down as protests hit sales

Hong Kong-based staffing agency AMAC Human Resources Consultants said that several dozen small retailers could shut down by the end of September due to plunging sales as protests frighten away tourists, South China Morning Post reported. Around 20%-30% of retailers have started to send full-time employees on unpaid leave to cut costs after letting go of part-time workers.
